| Are they necessary? One reason I ask is when I sit down, I don't want a piece of metal or hard plastic stabbing me in the taint. Another reason is because I don't want my mobility to be comprimised. |

I have a butt plate but don't use it. It's damn near impossiable to see anyhow.
Cod pieces are necessary. Get a Jango cod as they don't wrap under and taper to a point like the boba cod does. |
