Well, just like a culture, you can't stereotype a musical genre. It's not completely fair to be closed minded to something because of the majority. Though I do agree with you that the majority of rap is terrible music, and despite my across-the-board tastes in music, I have a hard time finding good rap. It's all just about good music, whether it's jazz or metal. Oya!
But off the tangent. What I've tried doing lately is translating anything and everything I possibly can to Mando'a. It's helped me some, but I need to study the vocabulary. If I can only translate only one word in a sentence, that's still better than none. It reinforces what vocab I do know, so it sticks with me better.[/i] |
