After a fashion... 8) The SCA has armored combatants that use rattan weapons to simulate swordplay, but full contact, not staged.

I wish I had other talents than shooting various fire-arms at bad guys. I want to make a set too. I'm jealous. Looks good, bro.

Weathered the belly plate:



Duct-taped the chest, shoulders, and belly plate to an old doublet... which is the wrong size, so it doesn't look quite right, but still gives a basic idea:



This isn't the doublet that it's going to be attached to eventually, was just something I had handy to tape the armor to. :?

Not yet... I'm hammering out the design with Ashcraft Baker for an SCA legal "medieval mando" helm on a budget. :twisted:

Although for trooping/costume purposes, I'd *love* one of HS's cast aluminum buckets.
