HS - Hand-Shaub(sp?). He made some NICE hot-cast aluminum buckets.
I've been waiting on my SCA armorer to get back with me on making an SCA legal helm blank to work off of... meanwhile, I constructed this sword out of a damaged antique cutlass, using the swords from KotOR and KotOR II as inspiration. It has a wood and antler hilt, carved aluminum tsuba-style guard, brass pommel, peened, filed, and polished tang stub, Peridot, Rubies, Sapphire, Amethysts, and Citrine. I still have to finish cleaning up and polishing the blade, but here's the Sword so far.
I also have a custom blaster pistol I'm working on, building it out of an old .22 blank-powered studgun:

Thanks, I call it my "Mandalorian Short Sword"
Here's another shot of it's full length:
When I get more batteries for my regular digital camera, I'll take some better pics. |

| Welll.... Um. I have a few of the pieces of my armor cut out. They still need some work, though. There's a crack in one of them... >_< But I haven't really been working on it lately =/ Ya see, this is what I was afraid would happen: I would temporarily lose interest in making my armor. I certainly hope it's only temporary, at least. I may start again over the summer, though. |

Finally got new batteries for my real digicam. I know the picture collage is large, but I configured it lengthwise so as not to mess up the width of the page:
I picked up some velcro for the sides, finished sewing up the edges, modified the shape of the shoulders, and finished attaching the chest/belly plates. The shoulder bells and collar aren't permanantly attached yet, but they're taped on to give a rough "finished" look. The collar will actually be on a gorget that will overlap that area:

| Everyone's armor is looking great. Hopefully I'll be home soon enough to get started on my set. |

| Those are some shabla awesome suits! Makes mine look like a bucket of osik. I used aluminum sheet metal for the majority of the suit. What did you use for your flak vest, Ordo? It looks phenomenal, and seems like it really holds the armor plating in place. I'm going to be starting a second set soon here, but I haven't decided on the materials I want to use. |

These next two pics are what im planing on buying to use a Mandalorian Saber and a matching combat knife.
Now this i own and might even use it for al well, still thinking on it...
now this is a not going to change at all. this is the color set up I'd like to paint the Armor once i've completed it.

I 'd like to build mine but like the poster before me I am not sure what to use.....plus just losing my job makes it alittle harder to fund the project.

Those look great, I made a set of armor out of sintra and finished it with aluminum, haven't finished my vest yet but here's the armor on my jumpsuit.
I'm redoing the diamond with a center design. |

| I'm working on a new armor vest that combines the three upper torso plates into a single piece while still retaining the signature style. I got sick of having to attach three pieces, so I thought it'd be far more convenient to combine into one. Guess I'll have to see how it turns out in the end though to see if it's any more functional. |
