Well, you can buy it or you can make it yourself.
2 good sources that I can personally vouch for are Bobamaker (google it) and Richies Armor (google that to.). But be prepared to pay alot...it's not cheap to get a good set. Probably close to $600 or more. For gaunts I'd look at a starter set for maybe $100 or less, if you feel like spending a good $300 just on gaunts then you can contact Man of War Studios and get him to make you a set. |

| You have to remember, Zach ... Novall makes some serious BANK! LOL That's OK, I'm sure he can make a killer set. I personally can't wait to work on my set with him. I know nothing of making armor. |

| Lol, well I wouldn't say I have bank...I just strive to make my set as close to my character's set from Star Wars Galaxies. I also like to make mine work, and that means buying the electronics, which is really the most expensive part. |

| ...or look on ebay. Search with "fett armor". I usually find a lot of great armor for great prices, especially fiberglass! |

I plan on building a custom set... I have some scrap street sign metal left over from some SCA armoring projects.

| yah, i got my set on ebay from a guy called shubiwon, it was about $300 and it was all upper body (collar, all 4 front peices, back) a belt with pouches (and cod peice) and thighs, shins, and boot plates. It didn't include wrist/gaunlet pecies, so i just wear some vader gloves i got for like $5 they come up almost to my elbows. Heres that Ebay URL: http://stores.ebay.com/SCHUBYS-GALACTIC-PROPS |

OK here is my two cents worth, Many probably know I am partial to star fortress productions do to their wide variaty and the fact they make the clothing and armor to fit you the price is worth it in my honost opinion.
http://www.starfortressproductions.com
check them out they make all star wars clothing and stuff from AVP and Battle star galactica and so forth. |

I took Star Fortress productions off our vendor list in Mercs because the owner has done some things that I don't agree with and could never support.
Shubiwon is a decent guy and his armor isn't that bad at all. Definitely good bang for the buck. |

should you hold him responsible for things past when he is doing a better job and probably not doing those things any more?
But it is up to the individuals who want the things he offers, you should let them decide but that's my two cents worth, and I am almost out of pennies so I'll slow down on giving my two cents now. |

Minus my helmet and gaunts, my armor is from Star Fortress that I purchased before I heard things from many different people about them. I'm not very impressed with the armor at all, had cracks in the thigh pieces, and the jetpack required ALOT of work to get it to look decently good. I did buy a set of gaunts from them, but I don't use them because of the sever bubble-up between the fiberglass layers.
If I'm going to spend that much money, I might as well just go with Bobamaker. In my opinion, his is the best you can get but also probably the most expensive. |
